Back To Basics: 10 Easiest Pre-School Products

Hey Beauties!
Whether we want to admit it or not, school is starting again and if you're anything like me you might not always have a ton of time to get ready in the morning, so I've put together a list of my favorite, inexpensive, before school products.

  1. NYX Natural Palette: This is one of my favorite palettes because it has enough colors to help make a variety of different natural, effortless looks.
  2. Dream Bouncy Blush: When I first got this blush I wasn't really a fan because I hated the idea of putting blush on with just my fingers, but the more I've used this product, the more I love it. Where it is a little messier than using a brush it is also faster, so it will help decrease contouring time.
  3. Yes To Cucumbers Face Towlettes: As many times as I've been told to take my makeup off before I went to bed, it never seems like a priority after a long day, so this is my saving grace. These wipes help to remove make up  (both eye and face) and reduce puffiness. Plus they smell great!
  4. BB Cream: I wont say that I was late to indulge in the BB cream hype but after finishing up some other products I recently purchased the Maybelline 1-in-8 dream fresh BB cream and it is by far the quickest way to cover up, even out, and hydrate my skin in the morning.
  5. Elf Eye Cream Pot and Brush: This kind of eye liner may seem like it is time consuming, however, once you get used to using a brush to put your eyeliner on, it makes for an easy smudge free way to create a huge variety of different looks.
  6. Nivea Rasberry Rose Lip Butter: I have heard various gurus raving about this lip butter, and while the small tin is a little on the expensive size, I believe it is worth the price. The hydrating butter is not only easy but also tastes amazing!
  7. Revlon ColorBurst: I have been using these lip butters for years and it has become one of my favorites. I have several colors but my favorite is by far the Red Velvet oxblood lip butter. I usually swipe this on after putting on my lip balm and don't have to worry about fussy lip liners or stains because the ColorBurst line is a mixture of effortless color and a hydrating balm.
  8. Eyelash Curler: It doesn't matter if you go for an expensive curler or a cheap one, it is the easiest way to make your lashes pop without having to apply any mascara.
  9. Loreal Original Voluminous Mascara: This mascara is accredited with being similar to the Dior Show mascara and is my favorite mascara. This mascara offers quick voluminous lashes that I would normally have to layer other mascaras to get.
  10. LUSH Solid Perfume: While I love traditional perfume as much as the next girl sometimes in the morning I love having the ability to roll a little of this solid perfume on my collar bones and wrists and be set for the whole day!
So let us know what your favorite morning products are and what your back to school look is for this year! Also if there are any posts that you would like to see let us know! Feel free to comment below or get in touch with us on any of our other pages(:

Beach Bag

Hey Beauties!
So weather you live in paradise or are just visiting for a few weeks, we all come to a point when we need to pack a beach bag and while its important to always have what you need sometimes we get bogged down trying to include everything! So here is a list of some of the best things to keep in your beach bag.
  •  Sunnies: They come in all shapes and sizes but these aviators are some of my favorites and work well with almost every outfit
  • Vera Bradley Wristlet: This wristlet is the best for almost every kind of occasion because while I love having a deep beach bag that will hold all of my beach needs, its nice to have all of the essentials like money, phone and my license in one place.
  • Water: This one is forgotten most often but is usually the most important. While laying out on the beach, or at the pool, its easy to become dehydrated and its the best to have water handy.
  • A Book: While I may love just laying out, sometime it can get boring and is the best time to pull out a summer read such as Eleanor and Park the book above. I've just added this to my bag and can't wait to get started on it.
  • Sunscreen: I will honestly admit that there have been times I've forgone the protection and skipped the sunscreen but in the end this decision is only painful and may have long term effects so lather up, spay on or rub in that sunscreen.
  • I-pod: One of the worst things is walking out of house without your i-pod and weather you have a fancy new i pod touch or a beat up nano like me its one of the most important things in the bag.
  • Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray: (phew! the title's long but worth it) This is one of my favorite ways to get beachy hair, just spray in and scrunch your hair after a dip in the sea or the pool and you're good to go.
  • Make-up Bag: There are many different things you can throw into your summer make up bag but I usually like to keep the makeup minimal, so I just throw in Maybelline's Mega Plush Mascara and Nivea's rasberry rose lip butter, and a make-up mirror.

So comment below letting me know what you take with you to the beach !

What's In My Purse!

Hey Beauties!

When I first started getting into watching videos on you tube and checking out peoples blogs one of my favorite videos to see were the What's In My Purse entries. So I thought that I would share with you guys what I keep in my purse on a day to day basis.

So first things first my actual bag I got from Forever 21 while in Florida last summer and I have pretty much been using it ever since! I love that it's deep and can carry everything I need without being gigantic. The neutral cream and brown leather go with pretty much any outfit I could possibly think of and the purse itself came with a long handle that I use sometimes when I need free hands and could use a cross body.

These are the things that I keep in the front zipper pocket, I like having a bunch of mechanical pencils and pens and highlighters right up front so I can easily grab them. I also keep my keys in this pocket because I hate standing in my doorway freezing searching in the bottom of my bag for keys, so I keep them here so I can grab them when I need them. Lastly I have my favorite lip balm, it is the Kehils #1 Lip Balm and I love that when I first put it on it feels like it restores any cracks or dry spots in my lips without being to sticky.

The next group of things I have are the things that I keep in the larger part of my purse. First I have my sunglasses and their case, I just recently got these glasses from Forever 21, they are the cutest pair of cat-eye sunglasses and I am crazy in love with them! Next is my Phone and my I-pod, both are pretty old but I love them and couldn't imagine leaving the house without either one. Then I have my black studded wallet which I also just recently got from Forever 21, it is a small studded clutch/wallet but it is the perfect size and matches the rest of my things. Lastly I have my Mint-Eucalyptus hand cream from Bath and Body Works, I keep this stuff on hand because it has crazy stress re-leaving powers, any time I'm at school or out and about and get super stressed out I put a little of this on and I'm good to go!

Finally I have the things that I keep in my make-up bag. My make-up bag right now is just a small brown Lancome bag. Some of the things that I keep in here are a stain stick that I got from target, small mini nail files from Tweezerman, a mini hand mirror from Forever 21, Ulta eye liner, hair ties, bobby pins, a lace headband from Claire's, pumpkin scented hand sanitizer, Cashmere Glow hand lotion from Bath and Body Works, tea tree oil face blotting paper, and finally lip products. Apart from my Kehils lip balm I have a Mentha Mint lip gloss from Bath and Body Works, and sheer pink Revlon Lip Butter, an Ulta trial size lip gloss and my Charolette Ronson lip stick and stain.

So these are all of the things that I keep in my purse! Comment below telling us what you think or send us a link to the things that you keep in your purse!

Spring OOTD (Again!) + My New Bike!

HELLO MY LOVES! <3

It seriously feels like FOREVER since the last time I blogged and I've really missed it soooo much!  I just wanna say sorry for the lack of posts but I've been pretty busy with school lately.  I'm gonna try my best to get back in the swing of things though!  I thought I'd just give you guys a little update and another spring OOTD (just cause) so enjoy! c:

Soooo, here's my outfit!  I know it's pretty similar to my last one but I thought I'd show you guys anyways :P  It's finally getting warmer here in Michigan and one day it got up to the mid 60's (which is basically shorts and t-shirt weather for us!) so I took the opportunity to bring out my favorite shorts!  This pair I actually made!  I got some ugly mom jeans, cut them to shorts, sewed lace on the front left side, sewed some ADORABLE lace bows on the back pockets (which you sadly can't see in this pic :c)  and tore them up a bit!  I paired them with a big, slouchy jumper from Target (along with a simple necklace), my new oxfords from Forever 21 and my little brown bag that I take EVERYWHERE!  I promise I'll try to change the next OOTD up a bit next time ;)
(For whatever reason I look kinda sad in this pic......)

I also wanted to show you guys something I think is really exciting.... MY NEW BIKE! I've been looking for a cute, vintage-looking bike for AGES and I finally found one that's not extremely expensive!!! <3  I can't even tell you how much I love my bike, it's just so cute!  I'll definitely be riding it everywhere this Spring/Summer!

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post!  Feel free to contact me at any time because I'd loooove to get to know you and talk about cute things with you :3

I hope you have a fantabulous week!

XOXO,
Rae <3

Manicure Mania!

Hey lovelies,

Since its spring, or almost spring, and trends are changing but one of the best most over looked accessories of spring is a nice manicure. I've been online scouring my favorite sites and I've pulled together some of my favorite spring trends in nail manicures!

Floral:
One of the best things about spring is floral and a cute floral manicure can be a quick easy way to add a pop of floral to your outfit

Nautical:
The next style is one of my personal favorites because weather you're spending the day at the beach or running around a city this manicure helps to always keep a little bit of the ocean with you

Pop Of Sparkle:
The final trend that I love during spring is adding a hint of a bright silver or gold to a normally single toned polish.

So send us your pic of your favorite spring time manicure and let us know what your favorite spring nail trends are!

Beautiful Boutique

Hey beauties!!

Hey ladies, so its probably spring for most of you, but sadly it's still warming up here, and spring style means new trends and new adventures in where you shop! For me personally spring is my favorite time to hit up cute local boutiques.

I have been visiting some family in Minnesota over Spring Break and while we we're in town we went to the Mall Of America, and it was everything you would want the largest mall in the country to be.  I visited a ton of different stores but one of the stores that I fell in love with was Lola. Lola is associated with BCBG and has locations in Minnesota, Puerto Rico, Nevada, Flordia, Texas, and California. The clothes at Lola had a similar feel to Forever 21 but were slightly more expensive. There was everything from cute tanks and dresses, to light airy scarves, to beautiful prom like dresses. You can find out more about this line by liking them on FacebookTumblr, or their website, www.lola.com.

Another boutique I am currently obsessed with is Francesca's  There is one at my local mall and they also have many other locations across the county. This boutique is filled with unique dresses, beautiful sweaters and some of the coolest accessories. I love shopping here because they rarely have to many of the same piece so there is less of a risk of having the same outfit as everyone at school which tends to happen when I buy popular pieces from larger chain stores. So check out their website www.francescas.com and let me know what your favorite pieces from their spring collection are!

So next time you're walking through the mall stop into one of the cute storefronts and find something for spring! Tell us which boutiques you love and your favorite boutique finds.

♡ Spring/Summer Outfit Ideas! ♡

Hello my lovelies!
Today I'm gonna be showing you guys a few Spring/Summer pastel themed outfits I put together on Polyvore!  So this is a bit random but I hope you enjoy because I love making sets on Polyvore, it's sooo fun! I'm also absolutely adoring pastels so these outfits consist of mostly pastel themed pieces which is definitely trending right now.  'Tis the season for pastels! :)

"Pretty Pastels" by bellabelle9711 on Polyvore

This first outfit is definitely much dressier than the others but I think something similar to this would be perfect for Easter!  Sometimes my family will go out for a nice dinner on Easter and this look has Easter written all over it!  It's very simple, yet classy and very feminine.  My favorite part of this set are the nail polishes! I'm a huge nail polish junkie and these color are absolute PERFECTION.

"Casual Pastel" by bellabelle9711 on Polyvore

This next outfit is super cute and casual.  I'd wear something like this if I was going to the mall with friends or just hanging out!  This might be a bit colorful for some of you, but I personally love it and think it's such a fun outfit!  I'm absolutely in love with this cat sweater because I love cats more than anything (mine is currently curled up next to me c:).

"Beach Casual" by bellabelle9711 on Polyvore

The last outfit is another casual one and I think this is my favorite out of all 3!  This would be perfect for going on an exciting summer adventure with a few friends.  Wearing your hair in a messy bun gives it a super laid back feel but all of the pink feminine touches help balance it out!  My favorite part of this set are definitely the pink heart sunnies :3

I hope you enjoyed this quick post!!!  If you're feeling up to it, leave a comment telling me which outfit is your personal favorite :))

Happy Spring Break!!

XOXO,
Rae
